District 7620's new Governor, Anne Mae Kobbe kicked off the 2016-17 year at The Dubliner with the Rotary Club of Capitol Hill. She emphasized the club's new to continue to engage in the community and raise the profile of Rotary while inducting our newest member, Cathi Coridan (standing at right). Anne Mae is only the third woman to hold the position of District Governor, and will use her bully pulpit to recognize the contributions that women make throughout the Rotary District.

The new DG also noted that this year is the 100th Anniversary of the Rotary Foundation. It is also a year to remain vigilant in support of PolioPlus! Both focuses provide opportunities to create and tell stories about why and how Rotarians give to Polio eradication. In addition, it provides opportunities for each Rotarian to match the initial investment in the Rotary Foundation of $26.50 and to PolioPlus!
