Eric Golstein, educator and founder of One World Education, an innovative DC-based nonprofit running the largest writing program in DC public schools, provided the keynote to Rotary Club of Capitol Hill’s successful pro-bono initiative kickoff. Over 20 people joined club members in discussing how Rotary can help to accelerate the impact of non-profits on Capitol Hill. Eric spoke to the growth phases of his organization and the value of relying on volunteer expertise at critical junctions for One World Education.

Volunteers and RCCH members discussed potential projects over the coming three months that range from assessments of homeless outreach programs to providing speaker bureau events for teens in area schools. Teams of three or more experts will be refining and pursuing these opportunities in the coming months. Stay tuned for further details.
