The Rotary Club of Capitol Hill inducted two new members on Tuesday, October 18. A hearty welcome to:

Patty O’Connell, Director of Contracts in Finance and Human Resource for the National Guard Association of the United States.  She is a long-time Rotarian and has served in a number of leadership roles. During her time with RC Richmond, WI (1994-2002), she served as treasurer of the club and hosted many international students. She served as president of RC Little Falls, MN, during its 100th year anniversary, where she was a Rotarian from 2003-2007. Patty has degrees from University of River Falls, WI, and Strayer University, VA.

Yvonne Carr, currently a government liaison for Nigeria with the Escravos Gas To Liquids Project (EGTL) – Nigeria, Chevron Corporation. She has over eight years experience in international development, private and public partnership, and stakeholders relations management. Yvonne has considerable experience in the volunteer arena in building partnerships and delivering services in West African schools, hospitals and community organizations. She is a graduate of the University of Houston Downtown.
